I love the beginning of the holiday season, even with all its hassles. This week is fall house cleaning for me. It's a good time to go over everything thoroughly and get ready for Thanksgiving company. Then almost immediately it's time to decorate for Christmas. I have relatives who do it before Thanksgiving, but I refuse. Each holiday should be enjoyed on its own merits without the other being involved, or at least that's my philosophy.
Where are you located in Tennessee, Rebecca? I've travelled it north, south, east, and west, but Chattanooga is the only place in TN where I have lived (80-83).
