I think of all the older folks who would love to be able to do all the chores we sometimes get annoyed with.
I don't can, or even garden much any more, but I love getting the fresh produce that is available and enjoying it in season. I've been into the lettuce and green onions and cornbread; and now there are strawberries for dessert!
We don't have pets any more and live in the middle of twenty acres. Yet, when I do plant a couple of tomato plants or some flowers, I am constantly battling animals digging them up. Haven't figured what the thrill is for them, they just dig them up and leave them laying.
Other than that, we have been attending Revival services at Calvary Baptist this week. Good meetings, if anyone wants to visit by Friday, you will enjoy.
