Hi Patti,
I do not recall going to Sheridan Lake, but the name rings a bell or that could just be my ears.
You live reasonably close to Estes Park, have you ever been? The Stanley Hotel is a neat historical location and it was used in the original Shining. The drive (ride) is breath taking (especially now) the road winds up the mountain to an elevation over 10,000 ft (if I am not having a Senior moment).
I still enjoy riding in the mountains. I went for a ride over in New Mexico the 3rd week of July, when Judy got back from Branson with her Mom and sisters. It was great. I do not ride as much anymore. I do not enjoy riding on the flat roads that much.
Hey, you worked in D.C. right? Did you ever meet Gaylord Nelson?
