It's time for someone else to step up! I've been out of town for three days, and nary a soul has communicated. Had fun, though. We took one of our "on the cheap" vacations to Northern Virginia. We saw Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. Also, Mount Vernon (Freddie would love the gardens).
We went to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford (a little off the beaten path, but a moving, patriotic display well worth the trip. Last stop was Poplar Forest (Thomas Jefferson's vacation home).
All in all tiring, but also inspiring to see the sacrifices made for America over the centuries.
