I remember the white gloves, Deanie! Gulp! Hope I pass inspection!

I remember...at the end of our movie...when we said our last good-byes...the white gloves, pearls...the sun dress and hat. One thing about you, Deanie, you're all woman...and pretty as a picture. Of course, Michael Jackson and Mickey Mouse wear gloves, too, but you, darlin', have the WHOLE ENSEMBLE going for you. Michael Jackson tries pretty hard, what with the military braid and all, but he'll never hold a candle to you. He looks more like a movie usher. All the money in the world still can't buy taste or style. One glove. Know why he only wears one glove? 'Cuz he LOST the other one and he's too cheap to buy another pair, that's why!! And what's with all that crotch grabbing!? Like he's making sure it's all still there. Very insecure man, if you ask me. Too rude and crude for me, too. I'm glad you're not into caveman, chest-thumpin' types, Deanie. I'm not into it, either...Brings out my asthma.

Yup, my poor dad took a dive out the window right after that dopplewanger incident. He jumped when he lost all his money in the Great Depression. Like all the money in the world was worth his life. Guess he had too much ego "invested" in his fortune...if you'll pardon the pun. I never thought that doublewhopper looked a bit like you. You've spoiled me for all others, Deanie. I can always tell the difference. Always. Can spot it a mile away. Blindfolded. You've turned me into Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman." I love a good tango, don't you? Hey, wanna go for a quick spin!?

I'm sorry if I made you worry about any downed fences. I just love chatting with you, 'cuz you're so smart and edjamakated. I always wondered about that "Love Story" quote. Maybe seeing the movie again after all this time would help, but frankly I thought it was pretty painful the first time. I don't think I'd survive a second viewing.

Guess that line means that Love's all about having freedom and not being forced. Like Love means never having to answer for your actions, but only if you want...Kinda like Scout's honor, you know...Love's for volunteers only, I guess. Now, Dick Benjamin was with Allie McGraw in "Good-bye Columbus," How's THAT for movie trivia, huh!? I always seem to remember the really painful ones to watch. Then, of course Allie left Robert Evans for Steve McQueen in "Get Away," but that's a whole other movie for another discussion.

Anyway, Deanie, thanks for being so sweet. I'm sorry if I drove you crazy. Please forgive me. We were both so young. Hormones 'n all. Also, I wanted to tell you that I'll be away from my computer for about a week. I'm miss you and think of you big time. Have a great week! And now for that recurring plea...Don't you dare forget me!
