Glad you like all my latin phrases, darlin'. Wanna know my secret? Well, I've got this little book on "How to Be a Latin Lover," and it chock fulla'em. Just to give you an idea on how I'm comin' along with my lessons, I can now sign all the words to "That's Amore!" without being slapped. Latin lovers are so smooth with their hands, and signin' keeps'em limber. I'm also doing road-work, all the better to catch you with, cara mia mine. Not sure why, but I keep flashin' on those coyote/road-runner cartoons - meep, meep!

I'm about recovered from my fireworks and hope you're OK from your tumble. Here's another phrase for you from my lil'book: "Ancora Imparo," which means "I am still learning." It's what the artist Michelangelo is suppose to have said when he turned 87. No wonder it took him so long to paint that chapel! (down, Catlicks, down!) Well, I'm still learnin' when it comes to my darlin' Deanie. I enjoy every single lesson that she sends my way.

You see, I love being scholastically challenged by you, Ma'am. I adore my teacher so much that I never need a graduation day. Flunk me, scold me, detain me, lecture me, keep me after, hold me back, blow chalk dust in my face and I'm in hog heaven, girl. Guess that explains why we're collecting so many rain-checks, sweet-heart...Imagine for a moment, if you will... You... Me...and a Rainy Day Session...Oh, baby! Talk 'bout steamin' the windows! Read my mind, did ya?! Can't say we don't know how to postbone gratification!

Hey, thanks for sendin' me that Harburg song. 'Course I love all the lyrics that you send me, but I'd never heard of him before. Since I'm still learnin', I looked him up. Boy, he sure wrote a lot of songs that we know and love. Did you know he's gettin' a postal stamp? About time! Here's another one of his songs, picked especially for you...

Let's give the waltz a chance
Let's dance and see what happens
Let us carouse while Strauss carresses the strings
Even the shy may fly on musical wings
They say music can do the most unusual things
Let's take a step, or two, or three and see what happens
Let us pretend, my friend, it's only a spree
And if a great adventure happens to happen
Won't we be happy it happened to you and me?

XO
Bud
