ya know, in other music news, i'd like to know what is going on with shows being canceled cause artists can't get their visas approved!? my big brother has called me up with extra tix for two shows now (bad Lieutenant--aka the new New Order/Joy Division and Echo & the Bunnymen), then the shows get canceled!? seems pretty messy and costly... what is going on with that?

I love Simply Red too. I have an awesome CD of theirs. Actually Simple Minds reminds me of Simply Red and U2. Their style of music reminds me of U2 more. I'm groovin to that double CD now, TRYING TO GET HOUSE WORK DONE! I am so damn lazy today.

it actually wouldn't be a far stretch from what he's already done his whole life. dealing with the public, etc. my days are unpredictable and i never know what lunatic will approach me next. for example, he'd have to deal with a random customer dressed in a full on charlie chaplin character who wouldn't speak but try to communicate to me in 'silent-film mime' until i get so agitated i'm like 'alright charlie, you're gonna have to open your mouth and tell me what you want cause this is 2009 and life is in high definition now'. so he does and i grab what he wants. then when i have to ring him through and take his money, he paid in a pile of singles and before he handed me each friggin bill he KISSED EACH ONE goodbye. tipped his hat, wiggled his moustache, swung his cane and waddled away. this really happened to me yesterday.

and now off i go again, these are the weekends i should have just set up a cot and slept at work. again, not a far stretch for Mr. Chris should he ever become a Retail Animal for reality show purposes.
