I was asked to have Hope by a friend who had bought her in foal off the back of a meat wagon in a horse fayre in somerset. I can honestly say that she was the most abused pony I have ever come across. Sadly I lost Hope 15 months ago at 33 as her kidneys and liver were starting to fail.In the 8 years I had her she never totally gave up her fear of humans nor wanted to be with them. The last few hours I spent with her were wonderful

it was totally as if she knew and she nudged me and put her nose up my coat which never ever before had she allowed me to do. She taught me that you can't fix everything as bottom line is that the horses has a choice.
