Heres the inside information on how the judges look at your entry.
The quality of your construction and the special details are given extraordinary attention by the judges. The design of your landscape is important from the intricacies of windowpanes, to the way you make snow or create a natural-looking pond. When so many entries are being judged, its the little things that make the winner stand out.
The judges strictly enforce the rules. Points are deducted for infractions. (Examples of infractions: a non-edible product is visible on your entry, a pond is made with a mirror, toothpicks are used for fences, your base is larger than specified size, or is not suitable for your presentation, etc.)
To enter your Gingerbread Creation, an official entry form must be completed and returned to Kalmbach Memorial Park by November 30, 2009. Gingerbread Creations will be judged the week of December 7th and displayed at Kalmbach Memorial Park for the Macungie Holiday, December 12, 2009 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Entry forms can be obtained by calling the park office at 610-965-1140
