Kellen, I was a crewman for a WISSOTA Late Model for probably 20 years untill 4 years ago I was diagosed with ALS, I along with my family was devistaded, but I didn't let that rule my life. Being unable to work on the car(s) I have since traveled to races in Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, North Dakota, and all over my home state of Minnesota. Keep working hard on your PT, don't get discouraged and most importantly go to the races and watch, visit with fans/competitors you'll be amazed at how many people care. My home track Hibbing Rceway did a benifit for me and I was taken back by the outpouring of affection by the fans and racers. I have sent $50 through paypal, it's not much but I hope it helps. work hard! best wishes, Mike.
