hey, I didn't mean to scare you, only to warn you that it is a chemical to be careful with! It's not rocket science! Don't use Jolene face bleach, you will have orange hair. One thing you need to know, when you decolorize hair, hair will go along this color chart:
BLACK
BROWN
RED
RED-GOLD
GOLD
YELLOW
PALE YELLOW
No matter what. So, no matter what you do, if your hair is brown, don't allow your hair to get to the orange stage. if you do, you must go lighter to the gold, or yellow, OK? (Blond...LOL) I usually do go to gold or blond with my clients, and as far as what brand is better, just stick with brands that are well known. Clairol, loreal, you know, brands that have been in business for a long time, or that you recognize. Bleach is basically the same product, with small changes in brands. (face, on the scalp, and off the scalp bleach is varied by different buffers and conditioners for the skin, and different strengths)
So, take a chance. You only live once, and I can tell you, I was not ment to be a blond! I keep it as my drivers license, just to remind myself of that...but we should all try it at least once in our lives!
