Thanks again, Gina! Is hydrogen peroxide worse or better than bleach as far as safety AND hair lightening? Also, I still have old PPD-dyed hair at the bottom 1/3 of hair...I would assume that I should wait until this is grown out and cut off before attempting bleach or highlights???

Any advice on finding a "non-toxic/less-toxic" hair salon (I'm in Chicago)?
