I left in on 9 hours. I gooped up my head and wrapped it up with a plastic grocery bag, tied it tight to my forehead and ended up going to bed with it on.
I don't have a gray hair one now. I decided to do this after reading other Henna sites to leave it on longer. Longer is better. And so it was!!
I used a super hair conditioner and it looks so natural that no one noticed a thing.
Lovin' it...

I am allergic to every chemical color there is. The last time I used chemical coloring, I woke up looking like the elephant man with knots and pus running down my face.
Can you tell me the name of the product you bought from sally's that work well and if it works well on African American Hair. I would like to try it.
Also, do you know the name of any pH balanced shampoos?
Thanks.
I am so very desparate!
Again, thanks.

That's the joy of Henna. No chemical. 100% organic. Mixed with boiling water, it smells like clay, maybe alfalfa, feels like mud. I put a plastic bag on and slept overnight with it. No harmful effects at all. The red colored Henna has a African-American woman on the box. Henna, I believe is good on all hair types.
My neck has been awful in the past. I have pics posted in this forum. I have suffered PPD for one year and seven months. I still have little scabbing on the very back of my neck at hairline. It's like it never fully goes away. It is so totally ridiculous.
