my daughter has dyed her hair often with no problems. However after a black henna tatoo in greece she had a really bad reaction resulting in scaring and a subsequent allery to PPD. Even on light colours on a skin test she reacted.
I have found a site - Smart beauty - with no PPd or amonia and she used the blonde colour in foil as highlights and did a test beforehand
( always recommended !) and it worked a treat.
Also daniel field do water colour dyes - but we have not tested those on her yet.
