I've written a children's Christmas book and asked my illustrator to use clouds wherever possible to tell part of the story. I grew up in middle America, fascinated with clouds and the images they conjured up in my mind. I now live in southern California where it hardly ever rains, so I very rarely get to see clouds of any kind. My favorites are the big puffy clouds, where the possibilities of shapes are endless. I formed my own publishing company and named it Puffy Cloud Press. Whenever I read to elementary children, I never tire of hearing their amazement at seeing recognizable clouds in my book.
