It's great that you want to donate to NIN. I don't know why you haven't gotten an answer from your local chapter yet, but here are a few suggestions that might help:
1.try checking your local chapter's website. there should be a list of hospitals and other institutions that they supply.You could contact these places and ask them what they are most in need of.
2. try another nearby chapter. There are babies in need everywhere!
Donations are always welcome. Please contact the chapter closest to you and share your thoughtfulness so more babies can be reached. You may find a list at www.newbornsinneed.org.
