Van Halen starts punching Kane2000 in the face and goes for a Camel Clutch submission hold, but Kane grabs Van Halen's legs and sends him to the floor. Both competitors return to their feet and they once again lock up and Kane sends Van Halen to the floor once more. He bounces off the ropes and lands a knee to Van Halen's midsection. Goes for the cover. 1...2... Van Halen manages to get his shoulder up and Kane punches the ground. Van Halen somehow twists his body and kicks Kane in his stomach.
Van Halen gets back to his feet and he bounces off the ropes, before landing the perfectly placed dropkick to a winded Kane who falls backwards. Van Halen climbs the turnbuckle and performs a flipping senton. He goes for the cover. 1...2... Kane kicks out and rolls towards the ropes, which he uses to climb to his feet. Van Halen bounces off the ropes again, but Kane sees he is attempting a running clothesline, and ducks under it. Kane kicks the back of Van Halen's knees and sends him crashing to the floor. Kane goes for the Figure 4 Leglock and looks to have finished Van Halen, but Van Halen miraculously manages to find some strength to drag himself to the ropes until he is able to grab hold of the bottom rope.
The referee breaks up the submission hold and a tired looking Mr. Van Halen climbs to his feet. Both competitors meet in the middle and start trading blows, until Van Halen ducks and blocks Kane's fists, before performing a powerful chokeslam to send Kane to the mat. Goes for the cover: 1...2... kick out.
