Tried this beer lately, and then found it is very hard to find...finally found it available in take-out groliers @ Hop City...this stuff could be something that grows on ya!
I see there are various posts online already where homebrewers are beginning to find their way into finding recipes/clones for this beer.
Basically, according to the brewer in Lexington, it is their basic Pale Ale, then stored and aged 6-8 weeks in whiskey barrels--that's it!
Homebrewers are finding that bourbon-soaked charred oak chips after fermenting brings comparable results--with many ins and outs according to the individual homebrewer, of course.
