... I connected to the web, and the first thing to happen was that my browser seized up, and I had to close down and reboot. This takes a minimum of five minutes with my laid-back computer. So eventually I managed to get connected, only to find that my e-mail server was down, and then went to the forum to discover that wasn't working either.
One does have occasional moments when one regrets the passing of fountain pens and pieces of paper. :-)
