I am in SE Manitoba, have a little home based repair/parts thing goin. I have access to factory manuals, and would be happy to help you out the best I can. By the looks of it, a brand new factory service manual for your 88 FXST (covers 85-90) is about $80 and the parts catalog with OE numbers runs about $65. Where abouts are ya North?? Thompson?
