smart parts epiphany disassembly

I've been having some problems recently disassembling my sp epiphany. I followed the instructions to the letter, removing the two grip frame and under-barrel reg screw. The instructions then say to slide the board out of the grip, pushing on the underside with a thumb. I am trying to do this, however the board itself will not budge, and I am afraid to push harder, for fear of snaping the board. Any suggestions?
Thanks

when you look down from the top of the grip do you see anything that might be blocking it like a pin, tape, glue?

normally you cant just push straight up, i normally just pull it out from the top then if it wants to be difficult i just jiggle it a bit and it works it self out.

hmm I might try that. It semed like I couldnt get enough space between the banjo fittings enough to see if there was anything holding it there. Would any other reason for the board sticking?

usually with those boards friction is the only thing that keeps them in place so it could just be really stuck...
try to leave the frame in the sun or someplace that it will get warmer then room temperature to see if you could expand the frame. aside from that.. you can't use lube because it could fry the board.

ok, I recently tried again to take the thing apart. There is resistance from what seems to be behind the soleniod, but I cannot get enough space in between the upper and lower reciever to properly see or adress the problem. What should I do?
