Listening to this guys rants has provided me with endless joy through the years, yet so little is really known about him. He was obviously disturbed and mentally unstable. Yet it seems he might have...at one time, long ago...been almost 'normal'. Whatever that means.
It's just weird. To this day there is still a relatively small but respectable cult following. I can quote any of his shit from Robbin the Hood to my old pals from high school and immediately we all start laughing. I don't think we're really laughing AT him. And if we were, it's only out of love. I heard he passed away in July 2000.
Where was he buried? Who was his family? Any kids? How many people actually sucked his cock?
So many unanswered questions. So MANY inside jokes.
If anyone knows ANYTHING about the man, the myth, the legend...

It just goes to show how many people, countless millions, that die and fall into obscurity. If it weren't for that ONE recording who would Raleigh be? A nobody. Nameless. Forgotten.
The guy will probably go down in the annals of history, while I myself will probably fade into obscurity and be completely written off.
