Well, my ancient-era conquest is less of randomturn's following, as it is the Oscillating War found in Vel's part three.
No ancient war wins on Emperor? Impressive. I look forward to the accounts of those games - I may play Deity where you have not gone, but it's obvious you play a more technically sound game than I do. I generally exploit the poprushing loophole to get my early game set. Civ's always been a game of finding out what you can exploit (see Civ2 and Caravans) so I treat Civ3 the same way.
