Feh, again

That isn't what I said.

The US is the most powerful nation. It has the most potential for being able to get things done. I feel the US could, and should, be doing more.

The focus is on the US because the US is the most powerful nation, because most of the participants in the discussion here are in the US, and particularly since we were discussing Kyoto and it was the US that walked out on it.

It doesn't follow, at all, that I believe the US is uniquely responsible for all the world's problems, or that I don't think most other countries couldn't also be doing a much better job of looking after our global environment. Believe me, I didn't have many good things to say about the British government's environmental policy when I lived there.

And yes, there has been progress. For which I am thankful.
