... but I do remember that Marx thought something very similar. That's what his "crisis of overproduction" was all about. Sirian says that production is always good. Marx pointed out that if you are producing more and more, employing fewer and fewer people for cheaper, you are impoverishing the many, and only the owners are gaining. So it might be "good", but that really depends on who you are, and what kind of society you want to live in.
