Response to About D2Game.dll.

I think reality is controlled by the host.

Since you are asking what we want, I'll give my opinions. (Not that I'd necessarily hold back otherwise. )

I don't really care about increasing the number of items in the gamble screen, I can always reload it. Though I do think the number should be limited to the number of 4x2 items that will fit in the screen.

I assume you meant the gamble chances in DT are M 85, R 10, S 4, U 1. That's fine with me. I'd have the numbers higher for SP, but as I'd said I think they should scale down as the palyer base goes up.

What does multiple cow portals mean? That you can still open one in games after you've killed the cow king? Or that if you bring in multiple Legs-o-Wirt (tm) you can create multiple red portals in a single game?

Bug fixes are good. (As long as it's something that I would call a bug. )

So much for the .dll, as for the .txt files, well, I like all my changes - simple though they are - but I don't know about on the realm.

Except for cubing runes - not that I could cube any runes above Thuls at this point, but it's the thought that counts. Charis, I think, would agree with this one.

What would others think about being able to gamble Pally shields, etc?

Now on to gameplay.

I can see that I still need to adjust to the culture on DSF. I'm used to being pretty much self sufficient on East, with the exception of having Occhi, Hawk and Zed as "family" - and one or two people who I trust enough to trade with. So within FoS, gifting was no problem and outside of that group, I did some trading.

(Roland, about the DSF mules)
They are NOT there to be your personal piggy bank.

Perhaps, I'm ignorant - people have accused me of being raised in the wild by wolves - but I don't know that I have a good understanding of what's acceptable.

Also, I need to figure out what won't ruin the game for me. Finding cool stuff is a good part of the fun for me. Just having it available isn't fun. OTOH, I think saving up perfect gems and trading 120 of them for a slightly used Light Saber is fun. Maybe it's that that I want to have my stuff, but I also want to be able to at least pretend I earned it. On the other-other hand, the occasional giftie is also fun - so long as the gift has no price (Okay, I admit it, I'm a bit perverse!)
