We can't judge the man on his personal practices, only on his ability to do the job.
You refer to his personal habits? Private behaviour? I still say, if his intern blows him, or one of his clerks, somehow, his being a conservative makes it more of a crime than it did under the "liberal."
After all, there is an established precident where someone can have all sorts of turmoil around them and they would NEVER do anything, like launch cruise missles, etc to take the heat off their personel problems.
