I got Lasik about 2 mo's ago and went from 20/200 or 20/300 to 20/20 in both 
I love it. At least for these last few years before I start to need reading glasses anyway. I've been a computer screen junkie for over 25 yrs now and have never (fortunately) had any problem with eye strain.
