-At the old willow tree a half mile outside of the village near the castle, a young man and woman waited. Young in age but old in working years, both nervously busied their worn fingers with pieces of grass. 'Old grey' waved its long fingers in the lazy breeze, that apparently beckoned the offspring of the said source of all evil. Seemingly drawn by the wind that danced with the foliage of the small forest patch came the waif-like figure of maYbus. About her tiny frame was wrapped a heavily worn cloak. Not her typical apparel. The two mortal peasants swallowed hard at her hollowed gaze which they thought they caught site of underneath her lowered hood. The young man attempted to appear brave, but the bead of sweat on his brow revealed his intentions to be transparent.-
"Be'eth this the other?"
-the antichrist asked rather flatly-
"Yes, this is him."
-the young woman meekly whispered, taking a step forward.-
"Content'eth."
-Unnoticed before, maYbus tossed a pouch of coins at the feet of the couple- "Thine payments fully shalt made be once task'eth be complete. Quality of work thine mayhap reflect upon a raise, or revok-ation of'eth payment. Ye, female, shalt watch and heed those who wear this symbol..."
-maYbus handed her a piece of parchment with markings inked in its center- "...whom enter thine pub. Even those whom think ye now occupy the grand'eth homes surrounding thine establishment. Retain details any."
-turning to the young man, maYbus continued.-
"Aye ye shalt attempt, but wisest means thine nimble mind might, to enter homes thus. How'eth know not I...be this what gold buys mine. Suggest'eth I ye nae 'blow thine cover' as ye human's say, or'eth so much as utter where thine sudden pocket change originated."
-in conclusion, maYbus added-
"Aye if ye acquire the thought it doth not matter what side the coin lands upon if it be someone else's dime, the child ye carry, slut, shall be ripped from'eth thy womb and stapled 'pon his stomach. Come to this spot one'eth week from this moment. Survive."
-The woman staggered backward at the mention of the child she was even yet aware she carried, and the boy turned his sorrowed eyes to his 'love.' With no other option and fear in their hearts, they would do as they were told.-
