-=Upon the silence of whispering wind and silken shadows, the Assassin Cometh. He dressed light this eve, his task at hand easily done.. Or so he thought.. With the silence of death he strode through the main enterance, his form lurking within the deep pockets of shade as he moved from room to room.. He wore no armor, nor the gallent colors of his leather he was common to. Nightshade pigmented his clothes, pouches, everything. Even his flesh bare coloring to aide in his stealth.. How long this duty took, he knew not. Each step taken in this acursed hall felt like an eternity of damnation, he cared not prattle about much longer then needed.. He saught the chambers of one he called daughter.. Perhaps once he did.. He crept aside her door, with a skillful eye studied the lock upon it, then easily picked it. The door moved upon but a hair at first, he cared to view any occupents, and their state, much to his liking. She was resting, asleep like his child within his hall.. Seizing his moment he acted, quickly taking forth a scroll, he placed it upon her bed side table, upon it laid a small ring worn for Kalla's finger.. Stepping back he looked but one, nae twice toward the sleeping figure, and blew her a kiss as the shadows enveloped him once more..=-
The Scroll Reads as follows:
Dearest Kalla,
My words to you this mourn were in haste, hope not you take them to heart as others have. Times of trial stem before me, and I take to them not well at all. Relieving my pains upon you was truly horrific, I wish to field yae an apology. It matter not if it falls on deafened ears.. The words hold weigh.. I apologize Kalla....All I have to give in return, be this ring, one another held dear one from yae.. Guard it well, however, never keep it from your heart.... Keep well..
