Lady Durken Posted Aug 2, 2000 11:46 AM
...deepened wood of darkest night.. did moonlight shine upon it all. When spy I might within the Wood, the fae's that danced, with song. Merrily they twirled and swooped. Shifting in and out of treelined gloom. From mine hiding, did I spy.. the dark one standing ildy by...
'what's this?' my mind did venture in thought. 'The dark fae lead the rally forth?'. Upon the stones the fae did wander, held held wide, a laughing gesture causing his frial chest to heave. No sickly smell touched mine drift.. nothing of the dark one jarred mine soul.. this form before me, was like yet not the one I thought I'd known..
'Tis time!' The dark fae bellowed forth. Voice of strength and power indeed. Causing mine steps to faulter backwards. Tumbling down did I come.. Falling into deepest dark.. the fae around, stopped thier dance..
-Durken sat upright within her bed. Sharkha had left a while before. Slowly she slipped her naked from from the bed, her hand wrapped within the bandages still, where her finger had been removed. Of course she remembered what she'd done. She shivered slightly, and looked around. The dream so very clear within her mind. As she set pen to paper to record it. This was the second dream she'd had, concerning V'Hare. Something was indeed amiss. She known it all along.-
-Darklit had once more returned, and watched her from his corner. Faded from sight, of course. His concern for her sanity was plain to see, but where could he turn? to whom could he trust? a thought.. a whisper.. and he knew the answer.. the dark mage.. his smile burned bright within the darkness.-
-She set her pen aside. Only two she could trust within the pack. Blade and Sharkha.. and that was putting it mildly. It was time to bring in her own hand picked people. As silent partners in this time of turmoil. She stood, and put out the latern.. returning to her bed..- |
