Harry,  Didn't know you were doing this too.  Will attach a photo of the shop I just finished.  It's the 2nd one of this design and I really like them.  I agree with the insulated concrete forms, they really work.  Pouring you concrete floor on top of foam sheets also helps a lot.  I built my 2nd gambrel roof shop into a bank and I can drive completely around it and trailer things into the upper story given the lay of the land.  Don't forget 10' high door (minimum!).  I went up 18 course of blocks so the ceiling height is good.  Had to put a beam down the center as I wanted to be able to put weight upstairs.  They can NEVER be too large and don't forget about how much depth you need to get around the back /front of a boat on a trailer.  Mine is 32' deep and it could be deeper.  Can sent you the plans I derw up.
