help with some basic programs

could you please help me with some of these prog im supposed to write?
*writing a program that sims tossing a dice 100X(ive done)
and counting how many times the different numbers come up.

*designing a program that makes a message move from l to r

*writing a prog that gives the user a multichoice tst. with the user to type in the letter of the answer they think is correct. after each question, the user should be told if they got the question right or wrong. if wrong , the correct answer should be given. (any topic)

*writing a prog that deals a hand of five cards and gives the value and suite of the cards.

*write a prog that generates 1000 rnd no and then converts the no into letters of the alphabet and prints them out on the screen. (ive tried to use chr$function and ASCII char codes from the manual but haven't gotten the prog yet)

*setting up an array with ten storage positions, allowing no to be entered into the array, screen be cleared and 10 no printed out again.

* inputting a time in sec and converting it into the corresponding time in hours( Ive tried to use int and mod)

*writing a program that allows the comp to be used as a timer - the program should allow the user to start timing and then stop timing and output the elapsed time in hours, min and sec
(it says to use the RIGHT$, LEFT$, MID$, TIME$ and VAL functions but i dont know how to use these func)
i have tried using tutorials but not enough info
it would be great if you could give me tips hints links to other sites or if you have the program.
