Rumour has it that more spots will be allocated to the US teams and the G will loose 2.
Make up should be as follows;
GTHL - 4 Spots ( Flyers/JrC/Marlies/Sens)
OMHA - 6 Spots ( YSE/Barrie/Halton/Welland/ST.Kitts/Oakville)
All - 3 Spots ( Elgin/Sun County/London)
ODMHA- 2 Spots ( 67's/Valley )
NOMHA- 1 Spot ( Sudbury )
US - 8 Spots ( LA/Honeybaked/Westchester/Illinois/Shattuck/Victory/Belle Tire/Dallas )

There will not be 8 US based teams, never is.
There will be 2 invite teams like Russia or the Saskatchewan team last year, and 4 US teams. There will probably be an Edmonton team as well.

THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN 8 US TEAMS BEFORE! YOU ARE CORRECT. THIS YEAR HOWEVER USA HOCKEY HAVE BEEN WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES TO ENSURE THIS HAPPENS. THEY FEEL IT UNFAIR WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN ALLOWING 12-16 CANADIAN TEAMS IN THEIR PORT HURON SILVERSTICK. LOOK FOR A TOTAL UPHEAVAL THIS YEAR. AND TO THE OTHER POSTER, YES, WHITBY SHOULD BE ONE OF THE OMHA TEAMS.

what about the 94`s on these teams will they get to play in the 95 age grôup too as they are mixed this birth years for «midget in the usa

Cant imagine Whitby not being there. After all they are the hosts and a very decent squad. Shame about the parents though!

Whitby will be there, they are every year.
The US Teams did not have any 93's last year, so I dont expect them to have any 1994's this year. In other tournaments they may.
