Girls just wanna have Funday—Sundays
The Chicago Hawks is putting together FREE skates for all girls who want to play hockey. Regardless of their skill level or age. Full equipment is required, if you don't have equipment, let us know and we can help get you some.
We realize that this is a long ice slot and you may not be able to make all of it. Regardless, come on out and join the fun. We will be working on skills but also playing some games as well.

All skates at the Darien Sportsplex.
Our goal is to have enough interest that we will be able to field an all girls in-house team this fall. A little information about our in-house. We will field as many as 10 teams this fall. In-house teams practice Saturday mornings and plays games Sunday mornings. You are allowed to play for another team and organization outside of our in-house but only one of Darien's in-house teams. The in-house league runs from September - December and January-March. We believe we are close to having enough girls to field a team, but we need your help. If you know of any girl that has expressed interest in playing hockey or is currently playing but wants to play on a girls team, please pass this information along.
