Good to hear some with experience with the organization have good things to say. I must say that basic league operations seem to generally run fairly smoothly, and it seems from what I've heard that zero tolerance policy is well enforced, so I can share in some praise. But, NW Gal, It's hard to volunteer if you don't have a clue about the organization or what is needed. If they need volunteers, website should ask and say for what - it might help get some.
However, while it's really other policy questions that inspired my original post, I do happen to have an unanswered e-mail into NWHL organization regarding a game incident that deserves a response from league, and I am still waiting patiently for some form of feedback (even simple acknowledgement to know it was read, and "issue will be looked into", although passage of time makes it less likely). Trying to be patient and willing to cut slack for all-volunteer org, but nothing wrong with asking for info and accountability where my kids are concerned.
