I care. It is good hockey at a much better price. These teams have beaten NIHL teams and have won tournamnets and the kids have fun. Hockey is not the be all end all here. The kids play, have fun and then move on to ther things. You so called travel parents need to get a grip. Your kids are not going pro. Instead of throwing $$$ away on camps, lessons, etc, why not put that $$ towards their education? If you would worry about the GPA instead of Goals and assists, the kids and the world would be a better place.

Clap, clap. More money toward school. What a concept. The only people that use that tired line are the ones that their kid sucks. Most travel kids can multi-task unlike your bender. Most travel kids play hockey six days a week and carry a good GPA. Off the soap box. Your kids a lousy athlete. It drives you crazy that other kids are more talented than your lil' Harry Potter. Their games actually mean something. Your kids game, on the other hand, just keep him from stuffing his pie hole with another Twinkie.

My kid is a very good player but does other things besides hockey. He has firends who play AA and one who plays AAA and he is in thier class talent wise. He is a very good football player and baseball plyaer. I encourage him to try all sports, plus he is a staright A student in the AP program. I played D1 hockey so I do have an idea of what I am talking about. There are many kids in he NHWL that have alot more talent than the watered down NIHL and Central States leagues.

Sure you played D 1. Everybody plays D1 on this board. Your kid plays house but can compete with AA and AAA players? Right. Probably still tie his skates.

If you think house hockey sucks, then why are you on this part of the board?

As for athletes being able to multi-task - HA, HA HA - I'm a university prof - sorry to burst your delusional bubble, but the majority of athletes (the few Rhodes scholars excepted) barely make it through their b.s. "degree" in leisure arts. The athletes who actually have the intellectual ability to make it through college drop the athletics in their jr or sr years.

Man this board is great. Got a D1 player and a college prof. Man with all that quality DNA flowing through you how come your kid plays house? Sure he's your kid? You want to see good hockey go watch AAA playoffs. If you want "feel good" hockey keep watching what your watching.

read the thread MM on the travel board. TRY and read anything these kids are trying to write and see how much more important hockey is over an education for these people. pretty scary.

Wow, you just confirmed how stupid travel parents are. If I want to watch the best hockey, I opt for the Blackhawks. If I want to watch my kid play a game, I go to my local rink.

You guys are great. All pissed because your kids are lousy athletes. Taking shots at the travel parents because they put the time and effort in to make their kids better. Hockey is a big social event for you losers. If you bang my wife like your kid plays hockey then she is very unsatisfied. Sucks when your kid is always getting picked last in gym. Father like son. Bunch of fat asses all wearing Kane jerseys. Pathetic.

This is a house board, doofus. If you have the time as a travel parent to come to a place that has NOTHING to do with you or your kid and attack the people on it, then you get what you deserve - questions about your wife's faithfulness and your dysfunctional family life-check, questions about your virility and even if that travel hockey player you're so proud of is yours- doublecheck.

And obviously you're spending way too much time on the computer to really parent - in the car on the blackberry again at those away games?

You House guys are funny. Let one travel parent get you all bent out of shape. Your just being played. You guys deserve each other. Travel parents look down their noses at you and your kid. Deal with it.

Its not bad enough that some of you arrogant travel parents think the way you do. Its even worse that you actually share your opinions with others. Then start talking smack about peoples kids and wives. You $#$%^s should get a real life. Its all about our kids having fun one way or another.
