The people who run and work the tournament deserve a lot of credit (especially since I assume they are mostly volunteers or underpaid) - but that doesn't mean that there couldn't have been better scheduling that would have saved many people an hour a day. And perhaps the Bruins home advantages are nothing to whine about, but it is just plain wrong to say there is no home ice advantage. And it's unfortunate that the economy sucks, gas is expensive, passports now required and Nike-Bauer is in Chicago - but that none of that helps me get excited about advancing... but we're in the Semi's in a few hours, and I'll cheer my damn fool head off for my boys to go all the way. |
