AAA vs aa talent. AAA kids at the player develp camp should have a distinct advantage. 7 months of faster practices and games have an affect both physically and mentally. Even a high end aa player would need time to adjust to the pace. With 70 or so 95s on the ice and only a handfull selected it is unlikely that anyone of the top players wil be over looked, in fact it should be painfully obvious considering how diluted the rosters are arranged. Each team has 5 elite players. It will be fair yet judgemental. The last 5 players selected to advance most likely will be equall to 5 who get cut. The selection for those final 5 kids will go on reputation and yes size. Hard to argue but now is when that gap becomes more obvious.
