The whole AAA league is a bunch of political bs. You will not make the team unless you start paying the bills in the begining. And for all those AAA parents who still thik that their kid is going somewhere...youre wong. Only about 2 kids on a AAA team, not even 2, have a chance of going somewhere. The rest are just idiotic parents paying the bills for those 1 or 2 kids. And you do not need to be playing AAA hockey to be recognized, you just need a coach that knows people and can help you get noticed.

You know, I realize the mentally retarded deserve to live (especially when they're posting something across the Internet they don't believe in just to stir the pot), but there are reasons they kill people like you in those countries.

You can always tell when it's a parent who never played or one who probably wasn't an athlete.

Really, upward mobility will be dependent upon a parentz resourcez and adventurizm and sacrifice. You can create opportunity @ A, AA, AAA levels. The rest is a lot of work, more-money, fate, good health, some luck, whom you meet along the way and contacts coaching staff may have. So relax, take your choice as to what level they play at and let the chipz fall where they may. Good luck.

You're right, Slapshot, you're absolutely right. Most Illinois AAA players would be AA players in Minnesota.

SINCE MINNESOTA DOESN'T HAVE AAA.

Go back to bed son.

Another example of a AA Player making the most of opportinities!

Eric Levine Signs D1 Scholarship With Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania,

Freshman Starter?

January 16, 2009

A few years back the coaches of the Chicago Force (Mark Hammersmith and Dick Glass) took on Eric Levine as their goaltender. This turned out to be one of the smartest things the coaches and Eric did. After playing just 26 games and posting 13 wins for the Force, Eric moved up to the Canadian Junior Hockey League to play for the #1 Pembroke Lumberkings, who remains a powerhouse in the CJHL. In Eric's first season with the Lumber Kings, he played in 16 games, backstopping his way through 13 wins and 3 losses, of which only 1 was in regulation time. Eric began this 2008-2009 season with Pembroke and won both games he played with a .96 GAA. Eric was then traded to the Hawkesbury Hawks and returned to Pembroke just 8 games later. Even in the game where Eric played against for the Hawkes in Pembroke, the Lumber Kings fans still cheered for Eric when he made great saves. Since returning, Eric has played stellar between the pipes, turning away 302 shots for a 92.4 save percentage. This sensational play has earned Eric his scholarship for Robert Morris and the Force wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future hockey endeavors (even though he doesn't really need luck when in posession of such great talant).

He had a few D1 schools interested in him for next year but decided to accept the offer from Robert Morris after spending time with the coaches and getting their philosophy for the upcoming 4 years he will be attending. They told him that he was the number one goalie on their scouting list in all of North America and that they expect him to compete for the starting job as a freshman and then lead the team in his sophomore year. - Steve Levine

Robert Morris University is NCAA - D1. They are currently in the woeful College Hockey America conference, but will be jumping to the Atlantic Hockey conference next season. They have been playing D-I for about 5 years now. Yes, there are a number of Robert Morris teams playing in ACHA (collegiate club) including one from Robert Morris University.

HEY-I might be stupid or f... parent (as you put it)but you certainly can not accept my original hockey intelligent remarks about AA hockey and its unlikely probability of being offered DI scholarship.
Hahahahahaah!
Next time be intelligent as well and counterattack me with facts
suggesting I am wrong (Simply stating put your money where your
mouth is, sir)
Keep in mind: AA Hockey in Illinois and DI Hockey is not D1 ACHL
or D3.
