94 mission question

usa hockey rules state no team can play more than 75 games Nationals dont count toward that total. How does the Mission have 76 games listed on My Hockey. Did they violate the rule thus making them ineligible for Nationals.

it is not a rule it is a guideline strongly recommended and rarely followed

Yes, it is true, The Mission had to forfeit the opportunity to go to Regionals and possible Nationals, and Team Illinois 94's will be representing the Bantam Majors for Illinois.

Where is the rule you are referencing? It seems the 94s would not be the only team breaking that rule. Take a look at the 96 level, the #1 team has played 80 games already and Mission has played 76. Are they not in a National year as well?

The 75 game limit is a MICHIGAN rule, not a USA Hockey rule, not an AHAI rule. It doesn't apply to Illinois teams.
