Does anyone know who the Midwest Leafs are??? Cannot find a website for them or anything...heard this was a AA team...what are they doing in this AAA tournament???

Because of the economy a lot of AAA teams are not coming. They need teams to fill in. It's just a spring tourney-who cares.

It is the Leafs from Dundee and their great coach Butch. This team should have won the PeeWee State, Districts and Nationals. They won Silver Stick and was featured on the Chicago Blackhawks website. They just couldn't win that last State game in order to advance. If they would have won, they would have beat everyone. Butch does a great job with his team, and don't take this guy for granted or he will get ya! Go Butch! Go Leafs!

This team has been in the tourney the last several years. They are from Iowa. Not that bad. Kids from Iowa & Kansas.

You are an idiot. It is not the West Dundee Leafs first off.

Second, the team you mentioned are the 96 Leafs. They would be down by 12 after two periods against a 95 AAA team. And they would not even have won their regional- likely would've lost to96 Affton.

The season is over for the Leafs. Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Blues beat The Leafs, Blues beat Affton twice to win Regionals. They are going to Nationals and should do well. Leafs had a very good team. It's over Fred.

the team you are dreading to play is the NPI Leafs. I very good team at the 95' Level. They could very well sweep thru this trny. They will leave MN and Wiscy team in their dust. Hopefully they can handle Chicago team as well. Good luck and have fun

does this team include any of the Russell Stover 95 AAA's from this past season or is it strictly the Des Moines players?

KC did you take too many fastballs to the helmet when you filmed the baseball movie or did your brain get waterlogged when filming Waterworld? TI and Everblades are the class of the field.

"to many fastballs" er ahh probably but that is besides the point. As you know baseball and hockey are my passion. My 95' is going to enjoy this trny. It should be fun. NPI Leafs are a good team. Is TI truely the better of the 3 Illinois teams participating? I don't feel the Everblades are as good as the Illinois teams. Probably better then MN,WI, and the minnows from Jose.

You could put the best from Kansas, Missouri and Iowa and they would struggle to beat the softest Illinois AAA teams. Go back to cow tippin Jethro.

Midwest Leafs (95s) and NPI Leafs (96s) are two completely different teams.
