In his early night-club act Bill Cosby told a joke about having a cut or bruise and going to the medicine cabinet and pulling out a flesh-colored band-aid. The punch line was "You know Johnson & Johnson wasn't thinking about people like me."
If you're reading the minutes you've got nothing to say.

Read a few minutes.
Is Brownie the only real hockey person there?
The bad news, hockey lovers, is there is no one in the cockpit of the plane.

Alot of the issues being discussed at these meetings are things that they want in place before anyone knows about it.
Why else would they not post minutes. |

As I said before my post was removed, they do not want minutes posted as they do not want you to know what they are doing to dictate your hockey life.
AHAI members give about $1,000,000 in dues to their slush fund. They do publish a budget and if you review it you can see some of the waste but you cannot see who is taking advantage of the money, but be sure that those on the Board know.
Speak up hockey parents and participate, or your money will be wasted again and again while the kids suffer from overpriced ice and easy money for rink owners and professional youth hockey directors.
AHAI likes to keep it tight so they can benefit from your $100, and they can pacify USA Hockey to ensure the slush fud grows and grows. An occasinal lawsuit forces them to spend money well, like to the benfit and groth of Girls hockey, but other than that, who would know? |

I guess they're really asleep at the switch over there.
No one gives a crap about keeping the public informed?
Or is nothing of any importance going on?
Just save it all up so you can surprise us after the fact.
Or do you really think it's our responsibility to attend meetings?
Why bother putting this on website:
"an effort to keep our membership abreast of the happenings within the Illinois hockey community, below are the AHAI Board of Directors minutes since 2000. All minutes will be posted monthly once they are approved."
Seriously, WTF???? |
