How about posting the roster of the 2001 select team. I heard that there are some kids on the team that didn't even have to show up for tryouts. How did that happen???

However frustrating, it's just not in Illinois that this happens. It happens everywhere. Politics plays a huge part in youth sports, especially hockey because of the cost, and will never go away. The only thing I suggest is have your kid stay on the right path and work hard. Don't get caught up in the politics of the game, because when it comes down to it, the better kids do come out on top in the end.
