Not playing the third game because Milw clinched in two games implies that Chicago Fury lost to Russell Stover in the Fury's second game... But this second game is not listed as played by either RS or CF in the Majors bracket....

So what happened in that game? Thanks!

CF lost to RS 5-3 and with CF losing that game and milwaukee already beating RS and st louis means they clinched the central districts titles and are going to nationals

Fury thanks for representing Illinois so well at districts. I guess your state championship was a fluke after all.

wisconsin hockey is just better then illinois hockey. well you generally always get better hockey when you keep politics out of it and let the best players play. That must be why milw is going to buffalo next week

The Admirals made some pretty good pickups from the old Capitals fall apart from a couple of years ago and some good TW players that were sick of WI politics.

Several factors helped Admirals
1) U18 Coach is very good, highly respected, kids want to play for him
2) roster has 5 former Madison Caps
3) roster has at least 1 former Illinois player
4) roster has a couple of players from Team Wisco
5) Fury plays their best hockey of season at IL state playoffs - then ..... crash

Typically our boys have played too many USHL games by the time the NTDP comes crawling around begging for help ... we leave that shithole program to Illinois benders
