| Would like to hear opinions voiced on the proposed pilot program for U14 and U19 girls. I'm doubting my daughter's chances of making either Mission or CYA as she is a first year in her bracket, the insane number of talented players trying out, and no ties to either organization. In conversations with others, I have heard of many positive program improvements at both TI and Fury. |

It just gives the girls who don't make AAA a place to play. Nothing more. 2nd best. |

So -- any rumblings as to who will be fielding these teams? I like the idea of a (potentially) higher level of play for those that are unable to make a AAA team but are good players ........when would these teams be known so that the girls can plan accordingly? |

Also -- any idea if a club can field 2 teams? An 'A' and a 'regional' team? Or is this just for clubs that don't have enough members to field a NIHL team? |

Heard that CYA and Mission will have really strong teams - TI and Fury less so. If you daughter doesn't make cya or mission and you live near either of the other two - try those. Heard cya really strong at 16 level, mission at 19. Tryouts start this week?
Also heard a few players moving each way - some from Cya to mission, some mission to cya? What's the story, anyone know? |

Why would anyone leave the Mission for CYA? We've delt with those dad coaches. No thank you. |

No dad coaches. Absolutely correct. But no talent either. Whomever said Mission would be "really strong" obviously has no hockey sense. SMH. What in the hell are they thinking down there? |

Is truly amazing on the ice and off. Regardless of what team she plays for. And since you have no f-ing clue who I am you can't make an educated statement about where she lands. Snap! |

I can say comfortably that your daughter will not play in the NHL. Right? Women couldn't hack it in the NHL. |

You are absolutely correct. She will not likely ever play in the NHL. Not her goal. So we're all good. |

No, we're not all good. It depends, what's her goal? | |
