First of all, you can not make that assumption by the outcome of a single game. Especially a 2-1 game. The goalies, which will be known as "PR" and "SR" would need to be compared on stats of longivity and equal competition. Though the only common league they played in was HIT, one must use that comparison. I guess from the poster above that "SR" only played roughly half of the HIT games, PR played all of them. "SR" played a lot of games against weak competition like St. Ignasious, B.Rice, N.Dame, Mt Carmel... "PR" didn't. "SR" played about 30 games, "PR" played in 45.
As for the game last night. Very good play by both. It came down to one goal, one error that resulted in a 2 on 0. "PR" appeared to be more atheltic, could skate and play the puck like no one else and truly out played "SR". But the game ended 2-1 in favor of St. Rita. Its a game, can go either way on any day. One bad bounce, one bad break and the score changes.
"SR" Good luck with NTG, you will need it! OH, maybe the other kid plays next game?
P.S. Mrs G, I will call you on Tuesday to discuss the ranking procedures for the 2010-2011 season, thanks for your input.
