Is it true PREP really won?

Prep defeated Crystal lake South for the title 2-1. Great goaltending for Prep throughout the tournament, but spectacular in the final.

JV final was South Elgin vs Jacobs, Elgin won 5-0

Oh and so nobody else has to say it...

No one gives any team from the Northwest Division any respect.. not even Rockford.

Rockford, PREP, and Fremd would give some teams fits, but then again no team wants to be the first team to lose to them. or if you lose you could say they're a "combined" team, more excuses

well prep and fremd are awful...so you have no point there. rockford is a very good team, but you make my point...they are combined...they are essentially a club team which gives them an obvious advantage over any one high school. so i fail to see what point youre trying to make

Rockford gets respect, but it's lessened because yeah they're a combined team. They play club games, too, they aren't a pure HS team- period. Go to the Icemen website and compare the Varsity roster to the Midget Major roster. Yeah...

As for PREP, they field a combined team but the difference is that they have to in order for them to be competitive.

Prep must be a good team if they beat CLS which I have heard is ranked 22nd in the state.

prep was outshot atleast 4-1. didn't even get it out of their zone except for icing the puck in the third. great goalie. thats it.

if anything the shots were 3:1, CLS started panicking and shooting from the blue line. When you winning who says you need to score? Just stop the other team from scoring, and you'll win. ..you all can think we suck, but were not hiding from anyone. If anyone wants a practice game call the manager or president
