Poor program. They had a good coach a couple of years ago and varsity had a winning record. he left to coach at chargers. this years team was pretty bad. jv didn't do good either. |

My observations are that this is a good program with very supportive parents. They are combined and by nature there are issues that come with this. That being said they work very hard to get it right. |

A very good friend of the family has played for this team for 3 years now. MR was coach a couple of years ago and the team was solid. He left for whatever reason and the team has sluffed off again. They were terrible before he got there, finished with a winning Varsity record the only year he coached, then back to their losing ways again this year. From what I hear, the parents were horrible and those were the parents that held positions on their board. My buddies kid says they should have never let MR go.

We are trying to make a decision between club or CCM for spring for my son (will be a freshman next year). Any opinions? |

To be honest, leave it up to your kid.
Comments,
If he is a first line AA/CSDHL player, he may want to consider club.
If he has a year of Bantams left, club may be a good choice for this situation as well.
First year Mm may be tough unless currently he is that first line player at BM.
A good BM team will be better than ALL JV teams in the greater NW burbs and the top Mm/MM will do the same to most if not all V teams - couple of exceptions, but CCM is not one of them lately.
Unsure what the V team will be like this year at CCM, but it has not been the strongest lately.
