If LAG beats providence by 1 goal and Sandburg by 2 goals (one empty net) they are not the #2 team in state. Sorry

We'll see how LAG does in their Thanksgiving Tourney.

If Loyola beats Phoenix by 6 and Phoenix beats New Trier by 1 then I gues New Trier isn't number 1.

haha my ass! once they beat a good team, they could be in top 5... maybe! LOSING by one goal is still a loss. still goes in the loss column bud.

NTG beat providence by 6 and it should have been more. Providence, you are a bunch of benders and do not deserve to be anywhere near the top ten this year.

stop judging by scores of who beat who, who then beat or lost to who. bottom line, when the "top teams" play each other, new trier, lag, stevenson, etc, that's when one can start judging the teams. i have a funny feeling when these teams play each other, they aren't rolling 4 offensive lines, and 3 defense lines, and their best goalie is playing. new trier and lag know they can beat providence...they will find a way to win those games, ugly or a blow out...but they will win against teams like that. the la tourament is everyone's true first look at who are the strongest teams, reserve your comments til then.

perhaps the score reflect the " new Provi" talent and not the lack of talent of LA.

10/9 Provi 5 vs GBS 1
It might just be "New Provi Talent."

Providence is a much better team than they were last year and shouldn't be getting blown out by teams like last year. How much they've improved remains to be seen but it looks like they're headed in the right direction

Providence is definitely better than they were last year and while they won't be in the final 8 of state they are at the very least competitive with some of the better teams in the area.

Providence will be great, once they fit everyone back on the bench. They have multiple people sitting out each game, including thier starting goaltender.
